Hello everybody.

This post is a short note to let people know about DOM, what we are all about, and what to do if you are interested in joining. Please read it through and see if DOM is a guild that interests you!

Board Rules:

0.5. All accounts have to be approved by an officer. Since there are dozens of spam registrations per day, I might miss your account. If it doesn't get activated after a day, send me an in-game message.

DOM info:

We are a causal PvE raiding guild, somtimes called a Raid Family Guild.

Clearly you have already found our website, http://www.gofightdom.com

The Guild Leader of the guild is Flaargg. The Officers are Antyrael, and Flaargg

It is a fairly "family" atmosphere about the guild, most players in the guild at least know 4 or 5 guildies in RL.

Most of the social interaction for the guild takes place on these message forums. Members are expected to visit at least weekly. Upcoming events and DKP totals are posted on this website.

We have players with every profession. Crafters and enchanters work for mats, no fee, amongst guild members.

There is no minimum participation requirement for raiding.

We have very few PvP events. Members PvP on their own frequently or in small groups.

We currently have about 40 mains.

Information for Applicants

DOM is currently actively recruiting.

Applicants will need to come on at least a few runs before being considered. They will also need to participate on this forum so people get to know them. This includes players who are RL friends of current members.

We may reject applicants based on many different reasons, please do not take this personally. We have an obligation to consider play style, class balance, raid viability, availability, and personality when considering applicants.

Members abide by the Six Maxims of DOM and are expected to behave as adults. Bickering and childishness will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

We are an equal opportunity guild.

Applicants will be "on probation" for approximately 5 raids. During this time, the officers and their class leader will evaluate them for skill, personality, and most importantly, their ability to function as a group and follow the instructions of the raid leader.

Applicant Requirements - You must meet ALL of the below to be considered.

Be at least level 71

Have the ability to work with the other members as a team

Have the ability to follow instructions, to stand and move and fight as the raid leader instructs

Have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English

Be at least 18 years of age. This requirement is important and non-negotiable.

Behave with maturity and integrity.

Have a working Ventrilo client.
